I see the capacitor is leaking. Send it to ECMTuning or someone for repair or buy capacitors and ask a local shop to replace.

The board has a coating that should have kept it being damaged. Clean the electrolyte off the board with some 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and q-tips. Make sure and check the other 3 caps for leakage as well.

If you know how to solder and desolder (or know somebody that can), you can get a set of caps from RTM for like $2 or $3

just make sure you carefully scrape off the coating before trying to solder.

What IS the coating they put on the boards? Had to remove all mine for a fix and wanted to reapply it.

If there's damage to surface-mounted parts it's going to be a challenge to fix. You need a tiny soldering iron tip, decent vision, a good magnifying glass, and very steady hands. I've done it in different contexts (laptop), but it's not easy.
