      I would use a torch as a last resort.
      For the shavings, blow them out as bast as possible.
      Use some oil drain it into the head to get oil to flow to the pan.
      Then clean the head with some brake clean & get that to flow into the oil pan.
      Put some more oil in the head & then drain the oil.
      it might be wise to change it again shortly after this once it's running again.

      I did not know they existed but as for the shavings if they are smaller than sand will my idea work? also will it warp my head if i use a flame torch. I am nervous as can be
