Thats a great idea. At what power lever did you find yourself having issues with the head before? What did you machine the dowels out of?

4140 prehard

I would say it is a benefit to anyone running higher than 30psi and having head stud torques above the specified 86 ft/lbs.

I have not seen a head as bad as mine for casting deflection and elongation of the boreholes and seat crushing; but I have seen many with the symptoms and this part is also a good way to repair a cylinder head that has crushed seats or fixable damage so you don't have to throw away an expensive cylinder head.

How about a mass production of these to help all the high boost guys out with another great upgrade and more piece of mind about their build :thumb:

I am already on it. I am going to do some testing and development first though to confirm product design is good or if I need to make changes in dimension or material.

Ill help test for ya Tim. I had thought about the idea but I decided on keeping head stud torque at 85 ft/lbs and let the 1/2 in head studs do work. BTW congrats man.

So your the one who got them cool looking slugs from a machinist i know, im not gonna say who as its up to you to tell or not but i know now what those things were for and i may need a couple sets if they work out. :thumb:

Congrats on achieving the 4-digits. Very well deserved. Hope to see it put down a good show at the shootout.:thumb:
