Hey, happy new year everyone, I have a question on installing dynatek in a 2g dsm. I have the install kit that comes with the tach adapter and wiring harness and I am wondering if there is a way to bypass the tach adapter? I have read other threads and guess I inferred it can be bypassed but I am not entirely clear. I have a six bolt engine with the 1g cas. Just wondering, thanks!

See post #6 and beyond. I think this will help you. BradS helped DESIGN that unit and I have had his assistance a few times. He is a very knowledgeable man and his words are true. He also has most of our (DSM) wire connectors and is my goto for any of my plug and play projects. :thumb:
@brads , any guidance for this person???
Thanks,
Marty

Ok yes, thanks for the reply Marty. It looks as though it has to stay in there. I called dynatek and they said it is required when using the ptu which I am still using. I found a good mounting location so I think I am all set. Thanks
