Dynatek Install Question

Hey, happy new year everyone, I have a question on installing dynatek in a 2g dsm. I have the install kit that comes with the tach adapter and wiring harness and I am wondering if there is a way to bypass the tach adapter? I have read other threads and guess I inferred it can be bypassed but I am not entirely clear. I have a six bolt engine with the 1g cas. Just wondering, thanks!

See post #6 and beyond. I think this will help you. BradS helped DESIGN that unit and I have had his assistance a few times. He is a very knowledgeable man and his words are true. He also has most of our (DSM) wire connectors and is my goto for any of my plug and play projects.

Ok yes, thanks for the reply Marty. It looks as though it has to stay in there. I called dynatek and they said it is required when using the ptu which I am still using. I found a good mounting location so I think I am all set. Thanks
