Trying to get the car to idle. I’m on ecmlink v3 and I got a check engine light code 14 throttle position circuit malfunction.

I thought it was because it was mis adjusted to I set that correctly manually .63v closed and 5v WOT, throttle cable is adjusted, checked resistance between ISC coils...

what can throw code for that, can it be the IPS? I noticed it’s integrated into TPS, but even then can’t i simulate thru link? I don’t know where to look.

You sure it isn't a code for the IAC?

Please post a log where you run the throttle through it's full range while the engine is off. Make sue to capture the idle position switch and the TPS voltage.

The IPS on a 1G is the switch on the firewall side of the throttle body not inside the TPS, unless you've modified it.
