DSMLink Log boost trouble

This was of a 3rd gear pull, I stopped at 4540rpm because my boost dropped all the way down to 10.9. In the log you can see me hit 22.6 pounds of boost at 3960rpm and as the rpms go up my boost drops back down to 11 pounds then the higher the rpms go the boost starts to raise very slowly (i didnt log this part). I think the problem is my Greddy Profec B Spec II electronic boost controller. Should I just throw a MBC on and see what it does? When I put everything at 0 on the Greddy BC it hold 10-11 pounds and doesnt drop.Current mods are in my profile and the log is attached as a .dat file so view in ecmlink program. Thanks.

I cant look at your log but unless you have a boost leak then it is your EBC. I would try borrowing a mbc and see what it does.. What you can also do but be safe with it if you cant find a mbc is to disconnect the wastegate line and do a pull at 3/4 throttle and try to hold the boost around 15-20 psi.. If you hold then its the profec... NOT recommended but it will let you know..

well i can part throttle boost and hold at 15psi like nothing, but when i go wot is when it wont hold. It has to be the BC, right?

I'd say get an MBC and try it.

The profecs "gain" and "set gain" are most likely your issue. Follow the instructions for it and it should work.
