He has tried to post to explain what happend but he is locked out. I happen to know him and he is a nice guy and was pissed when he found out that his roomate did that.

Glad to see you missed the point.

Next post that doesn't refer to DSMChips chips, this shit gets locked.

I just ordered a programmed Stage 3 EPROM for my 2G from Jeff with the following settings:
1998 Turbo DSM
CAS Inversion
650cc FIC injectors/315uS deadtime
7500/5000 2-step rev limiter
Knocksum Gauge
No fuelcut
800 rpm idle
Stock MAS
CE shift light at 6000 rpm

To avoid any downtime, I also order the EPROM on a 1995 ECU. I figure that this way, if I ever what to go to DSMLink, I will just swap out the EPROM with a programable one.

I will let you guys know how it works as soon as my new ECU w/EPROM, Injectors, Fuel Pump are installed.

**EDIT**
It's been installed and appears to work well. 5000 step 1 rev limiter works and I can't wait to try some more launches at 5K. The CE shift light is pretty neat too...it works as advertised. The one thing I'm not sure about yet is the Knocksum gauge that replaced that factory boost gauge. The needle so far is always in between the first and second line on the gauge.....and I'm not sure if it is really working, and/or how much knock this equates to...I have to look that up....the car does run good. I still need to get a SAFC and a logger to do some tuning now... My exhaust gas temp never goes over 1400F, so I'm thinking that the car could be leaned out a bit...

hmmm I wonder if he could do the shift light thing for me. I have been e mailing him with no responce for a while now
