Drive train/gear box is mounted directly in the way of my oil pan. How do I go about removing my oil pan?

Also, do I need to take the driver/front drive shaft out?

Thank you

Dropping the transfer case, the driver side cross member, and the exhaust should give you enough wiggle room to get it removed.

Remove the Downpipe, transfer case, and driverside axle from the transmission. its not necessary to remove it from the hub - as long as you can move it out of the way to get to the few bolts in the back. (removing it with it in, is fairly easy. its the installation thats a pita getting those bolts in)

I just did this job a few minutes ago and didnt need to drop the cross-member

Thanks for the help.

Got the pan off. Adding information about what was in the pan in my build journal.
