Hey I replaced my oil pan gasket today as it was leaking and at the bottom of my oil pan I realized that there was some mysterious small pieces of stuff at the bottom, I used a magnet but it wouldn’t stick to it and it was hard pieces of something not sure what but just posting to see what you guys think, something I should worry about or normal?
edit: also my oil pan bolts were all the same height i know that there is supposed to be two shorter ones that go on the timing belt side but I didn’t have any shorter ones
, my belt isn’t chewed up though. i don’t know if it’s only for 6 bolts or something, i have a 7 bolt
