Spyder oil pan type

i have a 96 fwd automatic spyder gst, i busted my oilpan and need a replacement, all the ones under 100 dollars arent the right one as mine has a curve on the pan, the ones i can find with a curve are 250-400 dollars. is this just how it is or can i find a normal priced one somewhere

That is probably normal and the ones you're seeing are 420a. Did you try the dsm vendors/junkyards?

2g turbo oil pans are harder to find than the 1g, which is still produced by aftermarket companies. IDK why they aren't reproducing 2g pans as well.

Careful if you're shopping on RockAuto, as they list the 420A oil pan on the parts list for 2g 4G63 vehicles. The 4G pan has a different bolt pattern and is not interchangeable. It might be best to report this to RockAuto, as it's very possible and easy for those who are oblivious to end up with the wrong part.

i can find a few but none that arent 300 dollars and that just seems crazy

i called 3 junkyards no one has eclipses, and ive found a few online sites but literally there all crazy expensive

Looks like OEM is the only option remaining for new 7-bolt oil pans. Used ones pop up on eBay every now and then.
