I haven't had driven this car much but recently did an oil change and noticed that I lose oil some every other day. Today when I parked my car in my driveway I noticed it was leaking some fluid. I jacked it up and everything is covered in oil.

In the picture you can see that there is a hose that's not connected on one end. Where is that supposed to be connected to?

Also when I open up my oil cap, some white smoke comes out... what could that mean? I constantly check my oil pressure gauge and coolant temp. gauge and they both seem fine, not sure how accurate they are however. I also don't lose any coolant.

Any insight? I will also be doing a compression check soon.

TIA

Yes it is a coolant line running to the center section of the turbo.

f*ck... so when its not connected like that does it just spray out coolant? and how damaging is it running my turbo without that? Are there any pics to show where the hose connects?

to fix that leak just simply loosen the clamp and pull the hose a little more onto the line and than degrease as much as you can to tell where the true issue is. white smoke is oil obviously and I would suggest checking your valve seals, mine did the same thing and I just went ahead and replaced the valves, the guides and seals its easier that way. also replace valve cover gasket PLEASE!!! its a mess when you remove them and reuse, trust me my car is on jacks right now because of that.

or just cut a small piece of hose from a hardware store and connect it that way, its fairly easy
