Has anyone figured out a good way to remove the bushings for the cam caps in the cylinder heads without ruining them?

I have a cylinder head that someone removed all the bushings from. I was hoping to take a set out of a junk head but they crush easily and my blind hole puller attachments for my slide hammer are all too big and heat seems to get to the bushing too quickly to be much use. Any ideas? Thanks!

Cam cap bushing/dowels are usually for one time use. If you remove, you ruin. You should replace with new, that would be much easier. But anyways you would probably require line/align honing, so if you can find a good used cylinder head, that would possibly be cheaper.
