crankcase ventilation

do i need an oil catch can (soda can or something) or can i just use a crankcase breather?

actually, the choice is yours. just using a breather DOES prevent oil from going into the intake pipe, but when oil does come out, it just goes through the breather into the engine compartment. if that mess is no problem to you, go with the $10 breather. however, if you have more money, or actually care about a messy engine compartment, go with the catch-can breather combo. they're like $40 from good companies (polished, looks nice, etc.)
