What would be the best way to effectivly relieve pressure using an oil catch can? I have a greddy catch can, I want to recirculate that air back through the engine. I have been thinking about having an aluminum bung welded on my FP turbo intake tube, after the MAF. Currently I have the side port on the VC connected to the catch can and the top port still connected to the PCV. What would be the best way to go about venting my VC the right way?

Depends on your power goals and set up, and also how often you change your oil.

Personally I run the improved stock because its my daily and a mild setup

I also run the improved stock setup. I must say my oil is way cleaner when i do my oil changes, no more shooting the dipstick and a clean intake tract and intercooler. I run 1 can between the VC and PCV (with a a US plastics check valve inline) also 1 can between the intake pipe (pre turbo) and the VC. Its amazing how much oil is caught after a few thousand miles/.

Are greddy cans junk?

I wouldn't call them junk; but most of those types of cans are just empty containers, with maybe a splash baffle or some coarse screens. They catch some oil, but usually do very little for removing suspended vapor and small particles.

Do a title only search on "catch can" (with the quotes). There is a ton of threads on them.
