Hey guys, I need some help with this. Started a thread on talk and still waiting for answer ...
Thanks guys
Hey guys, I've been working on my 1gen fixing some things and installing some mods for this summer to run more boost
Now that my walbro 255 hp is installed I remember that I could hear some strange bubbling in my fuel tank last summer after a long run.
I've mess with the little blue filter like they say in the VFAQ when installing my fuel pump. I remember reading that it's suppose to be a check valve ?
I can blow aire into both direction so it doesn't seems to be a check valve or mine is broken ? Could it be just a ball check so the fuel tank doesn't empty by the vent if you flip the car ? I haven't test it with liquid yet ...
Finally the main question is how should we run the fuel vent line when everything is removed in the bay ?
ThanksIt's a fuel tank pressure valve. Ill see if I can post s pic from the FSM when I get home. I have that vent just venting right next to the tank, but It hasn't ran since I did this, but it normally just went into the charcoal canister so I didn't see a problem with how I did itSo I just need to buy this blue check, put it inline the vent line and tuck the line under the car right ? That's what I've done with my 2gen but wanted to be sure that it was the blue thing that is the pressure check valve on the 1gen.
I'm sure I've read on this forum that the check is the white 90* fitting where the hard line connect to the flex line in the bay and than goes in the charcoal canister. I remember DSMer saying to leave this white crap there after removing the canister ...
That's where my question come from haha
Thanks guys
