Fuel Tank / Pump Check Valve?

I was wondering if anyone had a part number for the check valve that sits on top of the fuel tank...it is right next to the fuel pump cover that you unbolt when pulling the fuel pump.

I have some plastic check valves that I bought...using it in the PCV and Brake Booster, but I'm not sure if it can be used to replace the check valve at the fuel tank....anybody know?

I wouldn't use one of those usplastic check valves that you are using for blocking air. That will cause a major restriction in your fuel line and there is no guarantee it will hold up to gasoline or alcohol. Look on ebay, there are special check valves for fluids and fuel.

I figured...which is why I was wondering if there was a P/N for the OEM one...

If there is one, it would be in the pump itself and from what I'm gathering is our systems use an oring to keep the pressure in.

I'm dealing with a loss of fuel pressure as well.

Me too. Does anyone see a problem with using this on the feed side of the fuel rail?
