Ive been searching around for days and still cant seem to find an "end all be all final solution" for stock pcv valve ventilation on high boost.
I do have my pcv valve set up correctly. PCV hooked to intake manifold. Valve cover vent hooked to intake pipe.
My car is currently running 40 psi at WOT on a fp3065.
Each time I do a full boost pull the dipstick pops right out and spews oil.
My rings are good. 165-170 lbs compression accross all 4
The only thing I can think is that the little valve cover vent tube is not nearly big enough for the amount of boost pressure being created.
Ive been thinking about welding bigger -10an fittings onto the side of the valve cover for better ventilation.
But I am unsure on how I would keep oil from flowing out of the big fittings...
Ive seen guys eliminate the pcv valve and put in -10an fittings with lines routed to a catch can, but once again how does their set up not just spew oil into the catch can and overflow it?
I'm just banging my head here trying to figure out a solution so I can finally get my car on the track.
