Yea, I'm tackling another issue while I'm trying to get the clutch working...

The issue is that when I'm driving the car, around 3k RPM or so I start to hear a squeeling noise that resembles a belt squeel. Now the accessory belts and timing belt is less than 500 miles old as I put new ones on with the new motor. The water pump is also new. The alternator had maybe 1k miles on it before I did the motor swap. I even tightened and loosened the alt belt to see if it went away and nothing changed. So that lead me to believe it MAY be the crank pulley. A new one is $160 for OEM and $300+ for GOOD aftermarket ones. So I picked up a used one from a buddy of mine to compare.

Here's some pics of the one that was on the car vs. the one I picked up from my buddy.

From my car:

One from my buddies car. NOTE: I realized as I was taking the pics that it has a chip in the ridge between the two belt grooves. But I am trying to compare the rest of it's condition to see if mine is bad:

So basically I'm trying to figure out if mine is bad and needs replacing or if the noise is coming from somewhere else.

Thanks guys, but before I spend $100, I still would like to try and verify that this is the problem and that this pulley is bad.

It could be your problem. Usually when the crank pulleys go bad, they squeal, fall apart entirely, or the rubber becomes separated. You can tell if the rubber is separated if the timing mark doesn't line up with the T on the timing cover. It looks beat anyways, I'd replace it and call it maintenance work.

And replace the bolts. m8 x 1.25 x 20mm

Infact I can't remember if they're m8 or m10. I'm 75% sure they're m8.

Well I put the old one back on for now and torque'd the bolts to spec (18 lb/ft). I took it for a spin and didn't hear it, but that could be because it's raining and the car is loud and I wasn't going too fast. I guess I'll keep an eye on it.
