Every 14b turbine housing I've seen have had this stress crack. Yours is pretty small and I would say it is nothing to worry about. I have been happily boosting with cracks worse than that. You should be fine, I would just watch out for cracks that go to the outside of the housing.

I agree with Mr Peepers, I've seen a lot worse and the car was still running strong. Untill you can afford and upgrade i'd say you're safe to run that turbo for quite a while longer, but if the cracks make there way to the outside of teh housing, start looking for a replacement.

Yeah the housing comes off like cake. Take a 10mm socket and loosen the clamp that holds it to the center section. Seriously a 30 second affair. Oh yeah, you have to unhook your wastegate actuator arm from the flapper, but if you can't to that you have no business messing with your turbo. It may be a little hard to get off, but take a rubber mallet and tap it a couple times and it'll let go easily.

^^Don't ya just love rust. Yeah it will probably be a little tough but it should come off with few taps on all sides with a rubber mallot just be carefull not to damage the wheel while you remove it. When I did my 16g porting it took like 5 minutes being extra carefull.

Try 2 screw drivers at the same time so it doesn't get hung up on one side.

Make sure they are flathead :p

Also, if you are careful you can try tapping a screwdriver or chisel etc into it as a wedge.
