not to jack the thread but has anyone ever had any problems re-useing a MLS gaskets? it only has about 600 miles on it
Throw a new $30 Felpro composite on it and send it, no spray.I am at the point of either using a new composite head gasket or a barely user Cometic MLS hg. Only ran for 3 weeks and under 100 miles the black coating is damaged in spots so I was thinking of reusing my MLS but copper coating it 1st.
Never re-use a headgasket unless it’s an emergency and can not be replaced . I understand it’s probably ok, but when you assemble anything the cheapest part of the job is the gasket. I understand it’s mls and might be ok but please don’t.I am at the point of either using a new composite head gasket or a barely user Cometic MLS hg.
