Ok i dont honestly know if this is a problem or normal with these cars. just did a complete rebuild and while doing it i replaced ALL cooling components, sensors included. the car never overheats or runs the least bit warm while its running, but if i shut it down and come back about 5 minutes later or so (noticed after parking to pump gas) the temp gauge will be all the way to hot when i crank the car. coolant is full and temp returns to normal after cranking it. im a bit worried about this as i dont want to hurt anything. what do u guys think? Is it normal for the ambiant heat to heat the motor up that drastically when you shut it down? Should i be worried? Also one more quick note my cooling fan turns when the car is running but not when its shut down. i dont know if its supposed to run for a bit after shutdown or not though. anyone know?
