Comp Cams any good?

Ok, I have searched these cams on the site and on Google, but I can't find a good review. Is anyone running any of the Comp Cams? How do they compare to some of the more expensive cams? Is the quality built into them like on say HKS cams?

Comp has been around a long time and are a reputable company. They do a lot of grinds for other cam "manufacturers".

In fact, Forced Performance cams are actually custom grinds done by Comp.

Comp and FP cams are the same thing (FP uses Comp cams)... With that said, comp is a HUGE cam manufacturer and makes a great product. There are generally ZERO issues with their products and they are known to make a high quality product, for all applications.

I knew Comp had been around a long time and is one of the better cams for domestic V8's. I didn't know they were building for other companies though. I guess what I was worried about was maybe they didn't R&D them enough before releasing them, or something like that. Wanted to make sure about them before I order them. Thanks for the quick reply...
