comp cams with bigt28

i ordered a pain of comp cams 101200 today for my eclipse. i thought they would be the perfect match for the bigt28. but then i was reading threads and thought they might be too big of a cam for the bigt28?? is this true? what kind of hp increase can i expect? only gonna be running about 17psi since im still with the baby smic

If i were you i would invest my money in something else ..... i think u should do it step by step...that way you will grantee the result...or as all they say "play it safe" i would go with a bigger turbo .... better tuning.. and so on....once all done i would then put some money on the engine...

thats the way i am doing it right now...its your call at the end...i hope it works anyway for ya .... it might be a good idea.... let me know how it works if you get it installed.BTW, how is ## T28 working with you? still do not know which one should i go with T28 or evo3 16g?

ient been running anything more that 15 pounds on the t28 and at 15 its nothing special really. hopefully when i push 23 itll be a whole different story. but my bro had a e316g on his talon pushin 23 and its very nice. i would say go with the 16g, i wish i woulda gone that route before. but i cant really say much yet because i havent been able to see the t28's potential yet

Both spool the same, the EVO installed is a good $100-$200 cheaper, and has another 60 h.p. advantage. I liked the T28, but the EVOIII 16g outguns it.

The big T28 really wakes up at ~20 psi. Running it at 15 is not giving you much benefit over the T25 so it won't impress much. You'll be happy once you bump the boost with supporting mods. Although I agree with the above regarding the E16G, the little T28 is pretty fun. Nice torque hit, makes it feel "fast."
