Good Cams?

So once I get my fp 18g (If I win my bid) I'll be looking to get a set of 272 cams. I'm in high school and generally pretty damn broke. . So I came across these regrinds on ebay for $220. They are apparently made to match HKS 272's. I just thought I'd get some advice from the DSM community before buying them. Tell me what you guys think. CAMS

I can't decide on these or a set of Crower cams. I'd like a set of HKS's but as I said, limited budget.

Those look like dks2 272 from ffwd.. I have them in my 6 bolt and they are no different then hks 272.

For 272 you can use stock springs and retainers. It would make sense to replace the springs with the cams but its not a need.

I won't be revving my motor super high or anything. On hard driving maybe 7k at the most.

I run the Delta HKS 272 and like them, they look just like them.

You can use use stock springs and retainers. The cams on eBay look like them, you should ask the seller what brand they are. My dks 272 have the same blue strips on them.

I just did some research on those DKS cams. I may go with them instead. Did you notice a good bit of topend power with them just straight dropped in?

Definitely a big difference from stock but they were dropped in same time as I did a bw s362.. Lol. They are worth the investment in my opinion.

I would say check and make sure they are delta cams, I started looking into them today and have read nothing but good reviews, BUT IF YOU PLAN TO GET A MIXED CAM RATING LIKE 264/272 MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY WHAT SIDE AND WHAT SIZE. It seems like a few have faced this problem but it isn't something that is a huge problem. Honestly just going 272/272 should be good.

I have DKS 272s. I personally think they(as well as hks 272s) aren't aggressive enough. They need a little more lift.
