Bought a 1990 GSX with 160,000 miles on it for a winter project. Having a blast with it but I have been fighting almost every single bolt and nut on the car (snapping them off) due to michigan winters with road salt. Last night I removed my radiator to fit the FMIC short route pipes and to remove the A/C condenser. I have already bought an aluminum radiator because mine looked to be all rusted and not in great shape however cooled the car perfectly. Once I got the radiator out I was shocked. Take a look at what I found behind my fans!

Awesome, literally takes about 10 minutes to swap the radiator. It's much easier than it sounds if you were thinking of having it installed by a shop.
1. Drain it
2. Unbolt the brackets on top of it
3. Pull off hose clamps on the 2 hoses
4. Unplug the fans
5. Pull it out
Drop in new rad and plug it in hook hoses up and bolt in the brackets. Fill up coolant and you're done!
