Catch can on a 4g63

Hi guys I'm confused I seen multiple videos in youtube about catch can installation but none of them show on how to install the catch can on a 4g63 with a forced perfomance intake which doesnt come with a vaccum hole,, what can I do to install the catch can where should I run the hose to? It's a three way port,, I'll appreciate the advise thank you.

You tap it with a...tap and install a nipple of your choice.

I got told from the owner before me that I shouldn't tap that intake, he also said that I dont need a catch can which I seen bunch of videos ppl adding catch cans to there cars,,you have the same intake how did you install the catch can? Thank you for the advise

You're going to get a lot of people telling you not to tap the intake and a lot of people telling you to tap the intake. You'll never get the same answer twice. Tom Noonen's 8.6 talon with an FP black has the intake tapped, probably because FP recommends that you do that.

The whole point of tapping the intake is to have a vacuum under boost, and help suck crankcase pressure/oil to the catch can, however if you were to run a vented can you wouldn’t need a vacuum source, cuz you wouldn’t get much vacuum anyways, if youve ever tried drinking thru a straw that has a tear in it you know it doesn’t work, I don’t think a vented set up is warranted unless your generating some serious crankcase pressure, so as others have mention I would just tap the intake and run a sealed set up
