I'm in the process of piecing together my catch can setup before my tune at the end of the month. While do some research I came across some info that I haven't seen on this forums. I've read calans really informative tech article but I wasn't sold, or didn't want to be, that the sealed eBay catch cans are worthless.
I have 1 really nice catch can that's vented with 2 big filters and it's properly screened. Then I have another sealed eBay one. My original plan was to hook up the vented one inline with the Pcv and intake manifold with the check valve and the sealed one inline from the breather to the turbo inlet. I have not tapped or done anything special to my vc and don't plan to for right now. I have 3/8 auto line all around including into a 90deg barb fitting off the 8an.
Is there any use in my setup plan or is it a waste of time?
I recently came across an article that turned around my understanding of the Pcv system and possibly my gameplan too. http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages/jacks-pcv
What should I do and I'd like more real results from people with similar catch can setups. Eventually I might get the nerve to tap in/ weld larger barb fittings like in the link.
