So the other day as I got on the gas (98 gst auto btw) my CAS plug popped out a bit and of course there was oil everywhere. Any body know why this might have happened?

Did you check the PCV hose? Or the vent on the side of the valve cover?

Understood. However the two items on the up post are correct. Unless he is talking about something else.

What do you mean by plug? The electrial plug or the whole sensor came out?

The plug on passenger side of the block. It is either a 95-96 head or a 1g because the CAS is behind the cam gears. It is just a little black " moon" plug.

This sentence makes no sense at all.

Fix this, then we can fix your car.

The PCV and the lil vent on the side of the valve cover.

Wait, the half moon gasket on your valve cover came out?

Its on the bottom left corner of your head if you're standing in front of the car looking at the engine, right?

That's the only "Moon" I know of on the head.

On 2Ga's, the CAS is behind the cam gear. And on the opposite side of the intake cam where the CAS is on all other 4G63 models, they used a round black plug to fill the hole. It looks identical to the plug used in BSE kits.
