Hello, just a quick question. What are the common maintenance you do for your car?

and how will these maintenance affect your cars performance?

thanks! :hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah:

Every car has specific maintenance procedures and every car have what's called a factory service manual (FSM). A typical Chilton/Haynes manual will get most DSMers by and can be purchased at almost any parts store, i.e., Auto Zone, Kragen/O'reilly's, Checker, NAPA, etc. for $20-$30. However, you can download the FSM for your car for free to save yourself the trip/money to the car parts store but it is a .pdf so, unless you print it, you'll be limited to using it while you're working on your car.

Download 2g Factory Service Manuals (FSM)

It's also a good idea to update your user profile because we've got no idea what kind of car you're trying to do maintenance to. I went back and looked at your Intro thread and saw you've got a N/T 2g DSM which has completely different scheduled maintenance than a turbocharged DSM has. If I hadn't seen that I might have given you bad information because you haven't updated your profile yet so do it ASAP. To do it click on the "My Account" tab in the upper right hand portion of your screen and then "Edit Profile" and fill in the blanks.

Now, back to your car maintenance question. The maintenance portion of the 2g FSM starts on page 35 (in Adobe) and there's a scheduled maintenance table on page 39.

I wonder if their is some kind of list around here somewhere..:hmm: DSM 4G63 Maintenance Guide - DSMtuners
Haha. Seems like I typed that up so long ago I forgot about it, I didn't realize Brian and Chris got that thing posted up. We were continually adding stuff to it and moving stuff around but it looks like it finally made its way to production. NICE! It even looks like they added the modifications sections too...
