Good advice lofty, LOL.
It all depends on factors such as mainly the driver and what you have done to your car.

The gen 4, 2.4L GS weighs close to 3,400 Lbs. The G2 weighs 2,767 Lbs. Yours is probably less, that should give you an advantage. Now the GT V6 is another story.

Sure what do you want to use? Baseball bat? Tire Iron? How bout a golf Iron? I used a hockey stick on one of my cars it worked really well..

Oh yeah no bench racing

I hope you lose the race, crash and burn because you street race.

He didn't say anything about street racing! How do you know hes not taking this to the track?

Lets take it to the track. I have a 4th gen GT :sneaky: haha.

GT having that 3.8L (232cu.in), 265BHP V6 in a 3400LB chassis with an extra gear in the tranny to hit torque range at the right RPM's more easier. Then, it's all HP after that. Having the V6 in there is a hint that Mitz wants everyone to know that they are still the nastiest cars on the block - being an EVO in Eclipse's clothing. Also, a respect and reminder of the past with us 1G owners having the nastiest motor to be put in a 2700LB car at that time .. the 4G63Turbo

Only thing that he doesn't have is AWD to balance the power transfer (he can prob ignite those front tires real good and sit there on the hand brake).

The eclipse GT v6 should be able to do a mid 14, just turn up your boost and pass it.

ok so street race or not i walk 4g's all day long and dont have much done to my car besides bigger turbo but even then i only run at 9 psi :sneaky:

Funny cause your profile says you have a FMIC, exhaust, 24psi??? I used to work at a mitsu service shop and the gt's are fast. It will probably all depend on the launch, but I wouldn't put money on it that'd I win if I were you.

Stock GT runs a low 14. I dont have my slip, but am planning to run again real soon.

Blah Blah blah, Gt's are slow I walked all over one with my old GST spinning all the way through 3rd gear at 17 psi, boost leaks, and no tune; it wasnt in front of me once. I wish someone in a GT would have the balls to step up to my GSX, but that will never happen. Just go to the track race the GT, and have fun smileing as you pull on it allllll the way.
