I agree with you that ETS is a great outfit. Also their buddies up the road at English Racing (Lucas English and friends).
Also Geoff at FullRace. He has had to take a lot of flack over in the evom forum because the EFR turbos are so late coming to reality, but he keeps coming back for more.

Your Borg Warner, that's a S300SX something isn't it? The compressor could have either a 60mm, 63mm, or 66mm inducer I think. Do you know which it is?
Yea I'm sure Geoff's taking heat for the EFR turbo line. I bought my Airwerks turbo just before the EFR line came out and folks asked me why don't I wait. Thank God I did'nt.:thumb:
Borg Warner certainly dropped the ball on that one with hyping folks up and having folks wait. Was definitely a bad PR thing for Geoff but he's still continues to have success over his manifold builds, car builds and an abundance of knowledge in general.Other than the EFR issue Geoff and Raffy are pretty quick to address concerns so we have to givve them a B+ or at least an A- in customer service if it was not for the EFR crap.ROFL

Correct it's a S300SX 88-75 which is supposed to be the equivalent of Bullseye's S362 but with an entirely different and true Borg Warner turbine wheel and BW T4 turbine housing.

From website:

The Compressor is a 7 bladed 63mm inducer, 88mm exducer rated at ~75lb/min. Recommended for use in high flow 450-750whp applications Compressor housing is a 4" inlet, 3" outlet.

My oil cooler sandwich adaptor came and is installed.
I'm gonna have to change my oil cooler setup. Man you are really doing it to me bro. Nice! Thiis is definitely a much better look than my present setup by far. Only thing is I can't remh ember if my new motor has the forward facing setup. Sorry about the prior thread highjack Kels.

Na cee don't worry about a high jack man if you need to ask something here go ahead no problem with me I appreciate you guys following this build its help me to really make sure that I cross my t's and dot my I's because it will be a complete shame not to me at least one of my targeted goals with this build. Good part about it , if that happens I have plenty of places and rocks to hide under down here in the woods and besides the haters would love that. The only thing I am waiting on now is for comp to send that .82 3" v-band turbine housing. California shipping to Ga takes 5 days minimum. And they will not have it ready to ship until Friday and with thanksgiving coming up man its going to be near 3 weeks before I see it and that's a best case senario. So in the meantime I piddle around:boring:

Looks wicked! Are you going to run an external thermostat?
I may since there is no valve built into the adaptor to bypass the oil cooler until oil heats. I will bounce this off Killa Colt the grand wizard of dsm and see what his take is on it. Thanks for asking because this is a prime example of cossing t's and dotting I's. At this point I am still reading about pros and cons of not running one:cool:

video;)
OK Kels two things I learned , 1,I need to get an HLA and 2,this sandwich adapter to improve my current custom oilcooler setup. Where did you order the sandwich adapter from?

But here is another question, my oil filter hooks up to a separate adapter which is fed by two hoses leaving the oilfilter housing with a speacial adapter connected. From the adapter with the filter(which I have mounted in a location I'm not to happy about) I have two more hoses going to the in and out on the oil cooler. Is there a disadvantage to my setup because of all the hoses and connections? I actually have two more hoses than your setup which is similar to a stock 90 DSM oilcooler setup.

I see with this adapter ,I can connect the oil filter straight to the oilfilter hsing(adapter in between) and then have the hoses go to the oil cooler. Is the oil going to run as cool as my setup or does it really make a difference?

Kels I just went over this whole thread just to thorougly see all your progress. Great thread man! I noticed info that you gave concerning the head gasket. Basically I gathered that the Mitsu MLS gasket is suspect under high boost and detonation and that you recommend the HKS or this new BC steel lined gasket ,is that correct?

If that's the case I have to extend my list, Kiggly HLA,front facing OFH,sandwich adapter,Felpro exh mani gasket and now a different head gasket depending on your response.:ohdamn: Well if it all gives insurance then that's what I want. I will sell this new MLS hed gasket if that's what you recommend.

I only wish that I had put in the Kiggly girdle for the bottom end but I fear taking off this oil pan, loosening up those mains , grinding and putting on the girdle and tightening things up again, even though the motor is still on the engine stand. Daren from ffwd is the one who built this motor. Basically someone builds the bottom end for me and I just build the head and put it together,I'm too chicken to build rods ,pistons and assemble a bottom end myself! The hell with that!:nono:LOL

yessir. That's our thread pitch. Just beware the holes for the fittings are threaded for bspt. IIRC greddy or hks (some company like that) sell one for $108. I've just had that on my watchlist for close to a year and it used to be cheaper.

Damper installed simple as heck. I will only post one more pic and that's of the ceramic coated header when installed on the completed engine. Yall have to know the haters are relentless:confused: I love it though because without the haters there's no success!!! The engine is finally ready for install manifold will go on after the engine is in the car I still won't see it for about a week.......

700hp from a 4cyl! That's Krazee and scary ! All I can say is sweet beast.:thumb:
Now you know I'm gonna want a coil bracket for mine:D I'm serious. Also what did you have to modify on that mani bracket ,I'm assuming that's the stock one.

Kels you gotta update your profile man. I'm trying to keep up. You have a couple of surprises going on there.:hmm::D

Looking forward to you tuning that baby....:rocks:

Any reason why you aren't using the vband wg flange on the mani as opposed to the 2bolt mount? Just wondering.
