bov leak?

So I hard piped all of lc lines and i have a 1 g crushed bov.
my car takes a wile to worm up and dies if i dont keep on the gas until. I worm up Also i here a sssh when im building boost and it cuts in and out. I think my 1 g bov is leaking? What do i do buy a new BOV? i know i need to do a boost leak test but i think its the bov. I have a cold air intake a mbc at 15 lb on a 96 gst

You should just do a boost leak test. It will tell alot about your car.

i dont think its a boost leak i put t bolt clamps on all the ic pipes and they all line up.
I think my 1 g bov is bad im going to try and put a dif bov in it and se.

You can get a 1G BOV from almost any vendor, and craigslist, and ebay, and the classifieds, and google in general..

looking for one that is not that expensive. The one I have is from a junkyard.

I also have a boost gauge off the intake manifold

You should still do a boost leak test. Your injector seals could be bad, your hoses could be bad, etc etc. And you should tee your boost gauge from your fuel solenoid.

And yes you can 1g bov in the classifieds, don't pay more than 40.

i have brand new injectors also have a re furbished 14 b turbo.

I know i recently have changed that

Listeh to what other guys say. If you think you have done something right that doesn't mean it is. You have to prove it to your self. You will be surprised how many potential boost leak spots there are.

Just do that test.

Do you realize that a BLT will tell you if your 1g bov is leaking?
Stop telling us crap like its not a boost leak...when you suspect that it is one (leaky bov), not to mention "the couplers and clamps line up" doesn't mean a thing.

Do the test or live with broken car.

I got the stuff to do a BLT. I appreciate the help but don't be a jerk. stop telling us crap like its not a boost leak...when you suspect that it is one (leaky bov), not to mention "the couplers and clamps line up"
I was just trying to give some more insight on what was going on.

So I did a BLT And it was my 2 g bov. replaced and works fine also got a thicker hose to open the thing
