BOV blowing air at idle

My BOV pushes out a little bit of air at idle, should it do this or does it sound like it's leaking?

if its an aftermarket BOV i would tighten the the screw

Do a boost leak and see if its holding pressure.

It's stock BOV non curshed and it's at idle, the car idles a little rough I though about recirculating it and doing a boost leak test but I honeslty don't hev athe time nor money. I'm just wondering if this could possibly be a problem as I have an RFL sitting at home brand new that I could just put on if it might help.

No it's currently vented, I've had it that way for about 6 months and just started having problems a month ago.

1G bov opens at idle because the spring pressure is about 8psi, less than vacuum at idle. As for your problems, you're not allowed to ask questions about anything running rough when you're improperly venting, come back when you have that part of your problem fixed.
