So I installed my boost controller a few weeks back and the first night that I had it I turned the boost up to 12lbs. That first night I tested it and the car pulled to 12 lbs (spiked) and dropped back off to 8 to 9 lbs. Every day when I drive it it only pulls 8lbs of boost (its been hot and humid here btw) The last two nights its been nice and cool out, when I went out and drove the car it pulled 12lbs consistently. My buddy thinks its i'm heat soaking the smic? Will a fmic fix this problem?

Unless you are doing pull after pull with out allowing it to cool you are not heat soaking it.

I would make sure your boost controller is functioning properly especially if you bought a cheap one. 8-9 psi is waste gate pressure range on the T-25 I believe, a quick google search would confirm or deny that.

However a boost leak is possible. As for air temp, I have never seen a change in boost based off that personally, but reduced power on a hot day.... Sure I have seen that.

I have no idea why my car was doing this the other night. I found the boost leak, fixed it , car is running right where it should be now. That still doesn't explain why the other night it was running more boost
