boost gauge problem

I have an autometer boost gauge and it is saying I'm pushing 10 psi. I also have a greddy profec b 2 and its boost gauge is saying I'm pushing 16 psi. why are they so off and wich one should I believe. thanks for your help

If you have the gauge installed with the hard type lines that autometer supplies it is probly either pinched or leaking from a crack.

If you have used a rubber type hose and it is mounted in your A-pillar than it might be squeezed tight.


Did you install the boost controller or did someone else?

we installed it. It has been installed for about 4 months and they used to sinc up but they just started reading different.

I'm voting on the kinked rubber hose. That's what happened to me.
