Billet CAS cover

So I hated the OEM plate steel cover so I thought I would make one out of T6 .250 aluminum and then powder coated it mirror red and recessed the cap screws for a flush look. Powder coated the housing in hotrod black as a test color for the VC which is next.

No this was done with a router. I wish I had a CNC!! I'd quit my day job.

Just a regular carbide bit. It was wet sanded before powder.

For those of you guys that are interested in buying the CAS cover I would like to say that its a great little upgrade and adds a nice touch to the engine bay; and a great price too . I purchased one and here is a few pics of it intalled .

If you have a green top you can just remove the metal top and have it painted or powerdercoated.
