So I hated the OEM plate steel cover so I thought I would make one out of T6 .250 aluminum and then powder coated it mirror red and recessed the cap screws for a flush look. Powder coated the housing in hotrod black as a test color for the VC which is next.

Is that CNC cut? if not you got some skills my friend, looks great!
 
For those of you guys that are interested in buying the CAS cover I would like to say that its a great little upgrade and adds a nice touch to the engine bay; and a great price too :rocks:. I purchased one and here is a few pics of it intalled :thumb:.

If you have a green top you can just remove the metal top and have it painted or powerdercoated.

I know the black tops are plastic. Those could use a billet cover
