So I am in the process of assembling my head and I noticed that the BC 272 exhaust camshaft that I picked up from their website has what looks to be the slit for the cam angle sensor found on the intake cam on the passenger side ( my car is a 96 7-bolt and it has the cam angle sensor behind the cam gear on the driver side)
I am following the instructions on my Chilton manual and noticed it has a picture that specifically says the "slit" on the camshaft is on the intake side, but when I look at the BC camshaft with the "slit", it is the exhaust side which is stamped on the camshaft
I am leaning towards keeping the stamped camshaft on the exhaust side. Has anybody else had this issue?
