attention chicago dsm'ers, with stall converters!

I there anyone out here in the chicago land area, with a 3500 stall, or higher, with a 16g turbo, or bigger? If there is some one in there area, could we meet up and go for a blast in your car. i want to see what a diffrence the stall makes, and based on that i will decide wether i want to build my A/T, or go with a M/T. I know it might seem a lil weird, but I figured id ask, seeing as every dsm owner ive ever met, has always been cool as hell (unlike the honda guys), and dosent mind giving advice. If anyone can do that, that would be greatly apreciated.

im planning on getting one along with shift kit and end clutch kit

you get those three and you'll be better den any m/t becasue u never lose boost in between shifts

where you getting the tranny work done at? AMS?? how are ther prices?

nah they don't really specilize in autos but they can do it but they charge too much

like a auto to manual conversion would be worth 7500 as a qouted price

I talked to eric at ams, and he said that they had one that was holding almost 500 awhp. He couldnt give me any prices, it was still in development. And they dont do the work, they out sorce to another shop. And anyone want a complete 95 rolling chasis, with comple awd drive train, m/t for $600 let me know.

we have a car here with a 2.4 and an SC61 and a 3500 stall that we did 10.90 in. IPT is doing some phenominal work with the auto trannies and we are going to start carrying there transmissions. we actually have one there right now getting built. I can tell you though that the 10.90 car only traps 121 and shifts like a CHAMP! the trans we are getting back from IPT is going to get more HP through it then anyone has on there transmissions.
