I have a MegaSquirt Ecu that I bought and assembled.
First I couldnt get it working with the StandAlone
but the stock ECU would fire up the car
Then I Found the tach wire's shielding was grounding out on the wire so there was no tach signal.
I got it fired up with my standalone it was chugging, but it ran.
and then i needed a timing light to match the timing on the car with the StandAlone's timing.
So I borrowed a light and then started the car.
The car started to flucuate in rpm's quite a bit and kept stalling out.
Eventually it wouldnt start
I cant even get my stock ecu to start the car now. Theres fuel i can smell it and theres spark, i arched it on the valve cover.
But it wont start.
I noticed that my oil pressure gauge doesnt move when i crank it... I dont know if it usually does.
But im worried that I lost oil pressure while it was idling :S
Is that a Possibility? or any other ideas??
Thanks
Mike
