In my opinion is the best looking laches location i had ever seen, but i cant figure where is the pin drilled, i believe its near the headlight in the support bar but not sure. Anyone know if she is on the forums so she can tell or someone else please.

Looks like where mine used to be. One was on the area where the stock hood stand/bar mounts, and the other side matched. It's really not hard to eyeball this stuff man, just get in there and do it.

Yeah i tried them there but its not exactly like that, it is like an inch too far on there.
Can you post a picture like that of your old hood? just to see it please.

If you look at it it is exactly where the headlight starts.

That is Jess' car (JessGST on here). I don't see any pictures of her car in her gallery with the engine bay open. I might have a picture of her engine bay from the local meet - I'd have to check later tonight.

Please do so ill appreciate it. :)

Check post #39 on page two on here (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/app...4-who-has-installed-set-aerocatch-pins-2.html) looks to be the same place JessGST had them. Shows outside and in. From TSIAWD666 actually :p

Thanks for the link, i see the latches are like and inch or two far away (not were the headlight starts). The only place it could be is after the radiator brakets but i believe is something welded down there.

i think i figured out, it is after the radiator brackets were there is a little bumped circle right before where the headlight screw is.

when you figure it out make me a paper template i have a set (in white) just waiting to be installed but im nervous about messing up my hood LOL

Not right now, but I assure you they look just like the other white 2g above.

yeah I'm thinking its just the angle of the picture, that where i planned on putting mine, I'm just nervous about cutting my hood, I'm putting them on my stock hood, I mostly want them for the lockable feature and to get rid of my stock latch :D

Nah man they are where the top of the headlight starts but in the white one they are were the bottom headlight starts.

They didn't come with a template? because mine did, paper and a not to scale instructions.

Here is a picture of mine, just for another option for people who find this thread down the road. I think it works well with this hood, Im not sure how it would look on the OEM CF hood though with this placement.

FWIW

PM me if you want more details, I will warn you, you will do some fun cutting to make these things work, kinda scary on a brand new hood.
