Anyone know if this series gauge works with DSM link, or work with out ECU in general? Instead of hardwiring it into the ECU connector it has an adapter you plug into the OBD2 port. Im looking at this simply for.. simplicity sake instead of splicing wires in at the ECU, I'd rather just plug and play if it works.

If it doesn't work I'm just going to go with the AEM X-Series 30-0300 series and splice it into the ECU.
