AEM EMS or PowerFC

Im really interested if anyone has tuned with the power FC and which would be better, power FC, AEM EMS or DSMLink. I have been getting many different opinions on the issue of DSMLink and the EMS but so far, no one has tuned the the FC. Any replies or opinions on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

go over to rx7club.com.. lots of 7 guys use power fc. ..though we have dsmlink custom made for our cars, why use anything else?

If you can get a 95 ECU for cheap, then DSMLink looks like the best option. Although people have great results from the AEM also.

I'm personally going with a DSMLink, I love the ease of use and all of the features.

I know the RX7 guys use the powerFC like it was god, I have a good friend that uses it as well and the tuning on it is nearly just as easy to understand as the SAFC and since Apex'i made an application for the Eclipse's I was just looking for anyone who had tuned with it as a stand alone option. That's the only problem, I haven't heard of any people using the PowerFC on their DSM yet. If you have a friend that is familiar with it then that will definitely help. DSMLink is pretty straightforward and easy to use, add a inexpensive wideband kit like PLX or LM-1 and you have a very powerful tuning device. The only drawback is finding a 95 EPROM ECU, but after that $645 isn't that much for a great tuning device.

I have not used the powerFC, so I am not sure what it is capable of. With that in mind, here is my suggestion:

If you wan a good tuning system capable of 500+ horsepower, and you can get a 95 EPROM ECU, then run DSMLink. DSMLink is more than ample enough for the vast majority of the setups here, and it has one great additional feature: it's easy as hell to use.

If you're good (like, really good) at tuning and you understand what kind of importance things like knock threshhold, knock retard ratio, knock decay rate will have on your power output and motor's safety, then AEM EMS may be for you. It's not easy to use, but it's a great system, and it is relatively easy compared to some other full standalones.
