Adjusting shift linkages and bleeding clutch

ok so I cant get my car to go into 1st,3rd,5th, I can however get it into 2nd.4th,and reverse. The guy I got it from put new shift linkages on the car and didnt adjust em. my question is how do I adjust them ?


and bleeding the clutch now because it has air in the lines. Ive bled it on my old civic coupe and know how to do it. but he told me it was different. he said bleeding one of these is nothing like doing one on my civic(the pump method and open valve. Does he know what he is talking about?

On the bleeding part, it's the same process. Put a clear tube on the bleeder hole where the slave cylinder is and stick in a clear container. Open the bleeder and have someone press the clutch, close the bleeder and have them pull the clutch out. Repeat the process untill you see no more bubbles and make sure the fluid level never gets too low as you do this.
