Clutch bleeding issue

Two weeks ago when driving home my clutch went all the way to the floor. Had to bring it back up by hand a couple times but was still going into gear. Come to find out my slave was leaking. I have since replaced the slave and installed a new ss short line to eliminate the actuator. When bleeding it the pedal gets half way stiff and there is play in there. Was thinking that the master cylinder went since we have fixed those issues. Replace the master yesterday and was doing the same thing. Could it be the hard long line that runs from the master to the slave have a leak? Thanks guys
 
tried tracing the hard line from the master to the slave and couldn't see a leak. at all. hard to tell looking behind the engine. Thought we adjusted it right. Gonna take a look at it today and will get back to you guys.
 
deffinetly might have to adjust clutch but you gotta make sure the slave clyender is bleed really good need 2 ppl for that i went thru whole bottle of brake fluid bleeding it to get it perfect specially if you got a bigger clutch in it
 
Bleeding lines is easy to do: I have a helper with this one. I open up the spit valve on the slave to drain the old fluid out along with taking the cap off the master reservoir.

I close up the slave spit and fill the master up with the DOT 3 brake fluid. Helper is in the car pumping up the master and building up pressure in the line. I tell the helper to keep pressing on the pedal until it cant go down anymore...and tell him to hold the pressure and when I open up the spit, the pedal will suddenly collapse, but keep the foot on the pedal.

I open up the spit and get a shot of fluid out. He's holding on the pedal and I close the spit. I have him pump it up again until pedal gets stiff and repeat the task.

I do this about three times and this gets the air out and all is good. I also do this with bleeding brake lines.

I usually do the same but on the third I close the bleeder while the helper is mid push.
