I recently put a 14b in my 99 gsx, I took it out for about 10-15 miles with no problems, a week ago I was taking it out after switching the alternator and it died on me, I restarted it and it was idling at 100rpm or so, I raised the rpm and started driving it, once it starting spooling up it sounds like the turbo is spooling and it sounds like a boost leak, but the car is studdering, so I make it home with no boost. Now it continues to run very poorly, I can't drive it, it will not go over 5rpm, once it hits it, it starts shuddering and going down. Now, if I disconnect the wastegate and open the flapper it still idles poorly but I can take it to 7rpm (Standing) and it doesn't studder. Right now it sounds like a carburetor at the tailpipe, the spark plugs are super coated with black dry substance. The computer pulls timing 23 degrees when I push the gas pedal. I dont know what it could be, everything checks out good, could it be the turbo?Could it be a bad knock sensor? I don't know what else to check!

Studder above 5K rpm and climbs down, idles like a carburetor car, black coating on spark plugs. Disconnect actuator arm and it does not studder but poor idle still.
Error codes: P0500: Speed sensor fail (I don't think related to the problem)
Fuel pressure OK
Timing OK
Compression OK
Spark OK
Injectors OK
Boost leak OK
MAF OK (most likely, makes a difference if I unplug it)
Knock sensor Not checked (I believe you can't really check them without an ossiliscope, but could all this be just because of a bad knock sensor?)
