I would suggest getting the adapter harness that goes from the 1g cam angle sensor to the 2g cam and crank sensor. It looks so much cleaner.:thumb:

why did you pull the 99 7-bolt?
do you still have it?
how many miles on it?

Sounds like your looking for a 7 bolt:D I have one just settin in my garage taking up space, been trying to sell it for a while now and no luck. The motor has about 2000 miles estimated on the rebuilt motor. However the turbo is bad, but if you need a turbo to go with it i can get my hands on a t25 or 14b pretty easy to go with the motor possibly even a 16g not sure if my friend still has that or not.

I'm looking for a 99 7-bolt to rebuild into a 2.3l.
I don't want to deal with the 6-bolt swap, and my current 97 7-bolt is just fine, but I'd rather have the 99 with the revised thrust bearing set-up.

Does anyone know if a 7-bolt block can be machined to accept the 99 7-bolt thrust bearing?

i got the gsx for 3000 not motor didnt want it i had mine 6 bolt. but the dude gave me the tranny n stuff. soo im asking where things go ### i didnt take it out. ohh how much space do u guys have between the timing cover n the frame rail.

hmm I don't have the MDP sensor hooked up because i was informed by the people who did my six bolt swap that it wasn't needed for anything. But every time i read about the swap that is always on the lis of things listed.

the first and last picture are emissions related equipment that will have to be replumbed and figured out when you do the tb and lines.

The second to last picure might be the cam angle sensor, but without wire colors I can't be sure. I'm trying to guess based on how long the wire is and where in the engine bay etc.
