I purchased a 95 GSX 6-bolt swap project. The kid got it to where it is now, and left a few things to be finished.

I have a few questions:

1) There isn't a CAS, would I buy for a 1g and splice in the plug, or does it plug right in?

2) Alot of Vacuum lines and plugs everywhere, Any help would be appreciated.

3) Anything Else I need to pay special attention too with this swap?

Here are a few pictures..

It would benefit you to buy parts for whatever year make and model the engine came out of.

How do I know where the engine came from? I was told that it came out of a galant vr4
I bought an oil filter and oil pan drain plug for a vr4 and it fit so im guessing thats what it is

Sorry man i knew that you might get a little upset
But maybe the info i got can help you too
I didnt really change the topic it's still about a 95 6 bolt motor
But again i'm sorry bro

Your good as long as my questions are answered too.

Im not really sure of how you can tell where the engine came from, unless you cross reference the numbers on the block, maybe?

But you have a 6 bolt engine so you can even tell them you have a, for example, 91 mitsu eclipse turbo, and the parts will bolt up to your engine. :hellyeah: This is if they dont know what the hell a Galant VR4 is, which they probably wont...The parts store guys in my area usually have no clue as to what even an engine is. I usually have to walk them through step by step as to what Im looking for.

Haha that is somewhat how it is for me here but there are some select few people that do know what a 4g63 is.

I haven't removed the block yet but i plan to hopefully this weekend. As far as the wiring harness and putting it back in when i go to do that in however many months, how do I know what goes to what?? I forgot to label the wires. Is there a website that shows whish plugs go to what??
