hey fellow dsmers i recently got a 99 gsx and am going to put my 6 bolt that i had rebuilt. noting special realy. its 30 over and it has a tdo5h turbo on it (evo 3). i got the motor for only 150 and it was rebuild there were hone marks in it haha. i just need some advice and help with the wiring and the CAS. so far i got the motor in and it just sting in there. i still didnt change the senors. i would really like if some one can help me who has done it. its my first time haha. :dsm:

Also, DO NOT run anything but a blacktop sensor from a 93-94. The green tops will random misfire all the time where as the black tops rarely do it.
 
yea i got the wiring done but it runs like shit ### i dont have the intercooler piping right no it dont idle or i have to keep giving it gas for it to stay on hahah but i got it thanks for your help
 
hey guys i got everything done and i went to start it up it cranked then fired the rpm went to 1100 like its has to. i let go of the key and it dies i cant keep it runing its a 99 gsx basically stock. i have a 90 cas on it. i lined up the timing marks on the engine and on the cas but that didnt help. it wants to start but cant. i have spark fuel n compression. :dsm:
 
Simply lining up the cas won't cut it (actually, there is no linig up to do on the cas). However, you have to set the base timing using the cas. Make sure the cas isn't turned all the way back. A 90 cas is not the best one to use, try a 91+. 93-94 is the best.
