420A 99 GS starting/running problems

so the other day i picked up a 99 eclipse from a dealership and when i went to test drive it they had to jump it ### the battery was dead.. so it drove fine and all then they left it run after we had made an agreement for buying it to make sure everything checked out. well while it was running it died.... so i went and it started it back up again so we thought it might of been gas related so they put 10 bucks into the tank and everything was fine. so that night i got it home and then it stopped starting,so i tested the fuel pump and its turning on and pumping fuel but the spark plugs weren't sparking. so the dealership replaced the ignition coil, the crank sensor and a wire that was going to the cam sensor. it all ran fine they said. now i get it home and its having problems starting again like if i have the headlights on before i start it, it wont start. it will only crank but wont turn over. It does this more then just when the headlights are on now..like everything will be off in the car (e.g interior lights, radio, headlights etc etc) and it still wont start... and yesterday and today it has died twice while driving as in just completely turned off. dealership says to bring it back in on monday and theyll look at it but id like to get an idea of what to tell them if anyone could help me out here....i think it might have something to either do with the ecu or the cam sensor. does anyone else have ideas? any help is appreciated..

no its not setting any codes off and the alternator and diodes and starter and battery all passed an electrical system test.

That's weird... I have no clue what to tell you. I had a car that stalled while i drove it but that was because the oil pump was starting to go. But it probably isn't related to the oil pump. How fast are you going when it stalls?

the speed limit so about 40 maybe like 2 or 3 miles difference

It does sound like the cam sensor but I'm not entirely sure... Hope you get it fixed!

Honestly if you can take it back for a refund I would. Car is already starting to sound like a headache.

well your right sir! it ended up being a bad crank sensor and a faulty wire going to the cam sensor and about 3 to 4 cm of carbon build up on the throttle plate preventing it from opening and closing properly. so i gotta new ignition coil, crank sensor, cam sensor wire, spark plugs, and a clean intake and now i works fine just the idle is a little wacky sometimes. still needs alil work but the dealers paying for it all so i cant complain i guess
