I had a 91 tsi awd talon that i learned a shit load about. I dont know shit about the second gens. The 99 eclipse that is obd-2 can you point me in the right direction for tuning it chipping it i was pretty sure that you can't chip obd-2 because of all the emissions shit. Im just curious what all can i tune with what will it do if you put a full exhaust on stuff like that i just wanted to answer my friends question and i didnt see to much about the 0bd-2 ecu's and what people are doing are they converting to obd-1 or what thanks.

Well OBD-II cars when it comes to DSM's are no harder or easier to mod and tune than an OBD-I car. You can still put in an aftermarket "chip" in and OBD-II and tune it. Bottom line, people rarely if ever covert to OBD-I, AND you wont run into alot problems in an OBD-II over an OBD-I car. That may be common in the Honda scene but not here. Also please refrain from cursing when there is no real need for it.

There is a lot of info about it here and the options are pretty much the same as a 1g, if you know a lot about 1gs most of it applys to a 2g also. You can chip a 2g you just need a 95 Eprom ECU, we don't convert to obd 1 these aren't hondas . Your otions are not putting in a chip and using an safc to tune or getting an eprom ECU and geting a chip for it and using an safc for fine tuning, or or you can get DSMlink. There are other options but those are probably the most common.
